My boss, well hell, everyone tells that same story…
Honestly though, I think he is a fool and has not been nor will he ever be an effective leader of men. End of story on that.
Or not.
If you treat your people like children, that’s what they will act like. If you treat them like men, and hold them to that standard that’s what you can expect. Unless they aren’t grown. And are just boys.
Some of us work with them.
The day simply cannot be spoilt though. Something…. Scratch that, someone always helps pull it through. And all it takes is one of her smiles. Or the sound of an incoming text message.
I do believe a good walk is the best way to end the day, or start it, or fill it. People in the centuries before us did so much more with so little it seems like, and its refreshing to me to be able to enjoy something that my counterpart 100 years ago would have enjoyed.
